YouTube in the background

On iOS at least, YouTube will always stop playing once it is in the background.

I (do not) appreciate this is so they can try and sell subscriptions, and it’s not only YouTube that denies PiP/background audio.

What is extremely frustrating is this means I can’t listen to the audio of an video and change various settings on my hearing aid app without losing the thing I’m trying to tune!

I went to settings and selected ‘live chat’ but that’s only a setting for “hold for review”.

Does anyone know he to highlight this with them? I’m sure it won’t make a difference but would love a good rant with them

Wait a minute. My Phonak Lumity Life rechargeable is paired + connected to my MacBook Pro via the laptop’s BT. I’ve got a Youtube video running right now as I’m pecking away at this post.

I don’t have myPhonak app open or anything like that. What’s your set-up?

This is using the iPad/iPhone app.

I have just realised though that I can use the Mfi UI in control centre to make adjustments without the audio stopping.
