Widex Momen ITE and CIC ... do they have bluetooth and how is the app?

Hi,
I am comparing ITC/ITE/CIC hearing aids and am confused about what Widex offers. Do any of the Moment ITE and CIC support bluetooth? Would I need to wear a COM DEX for streaming from my phone or computer?

More importantly, how do they work with a phone app if they don’t support Bluetooth? Is the Com-Dex required for using the app to adjust settings, etc?

Thank you.

Hi, there isn’t bluetooth yet in the ite & cic customs, I use the com-dex with my Moment 440 customs. This streams music & calls and I also used it to stream via my pc at work (bt enabled laptop). There is the Tonelink app that allows you to change volume & the programme and also set directional focus but you don’t have access to the Moment App. I get along fine without as I usually find, so long as I have been set up correctly-best fit/sensogram etc I don’t need to finetune.

Have you got a copy of compass software, with this you can check yourself exactly what models support what device etc

How can i get a link to compass software?

post 2 is correct. The only way you can make adjustments with these without the software is to use the phone app. it plays a very high fairly inaudible tone to the HA’s and changes the settings.

Welcome to the forum, great your giving DIY a go, please be sure to research and read the user guides before starting your DIY projects as it’s very helpful for setting up the first time, you’ll need the correct programming device as well, for moment/sheer you’ll need Noahlink wireless, older models will need ProLink, Allure seems to be cloud based only so no DIY.
