Have a new Widex behind the ear aid.
Quite a gadget.
The case is so small, it’s always moving around the ear to head space. Is there anything like a “case extender” that would effectively make the case a bit bigger, and have it feel, and actually be, more secure ?

You may have wire way too long. You need to check receiver correct wire length.
Too long and it will saggy. Too short and it will rub the top of ear (not everyone annoy by this though).
Plus, if you have correct wire length, your HAs will sits at optimal position and microphone oriental will be optimal. This tiny bit change can make you hear a little better. Just a little.
Yeah I think you could try something along the lines of Eargear, could help your situation.
If you show your dispenser they should be able to rectify this to get the fit right for you. I have worn the MRics, they are very small & look great. It should feel secure & I am am sure this can be fixed for you. As mentioned above it may be the receiver wire not being at optimum length or the fit/mould type within your ear canal needing to be adjusted.
