Why many different Starkey apps?

I’m about to try a Starkey Genesis CIC wireless hearing aid. I was told I could download the app in preparation, but there seem to be many different apps.

On their website, they describe My Starkey and also Thrive. The descriptions sound similar. Which one should I use with my hearing aids? The manual doesn’t say, just says to see, “Setting Up Your Compatible Mobile App”. Anyone know which one that is?

App store also has a number of other different Starkey apps including: TruLink, Hear Circle, Listen Carefully, Relax, and others. What are all of these?

Please install the My Starkey App on your smartphone for the new Starkey hearing aids generation (the all new everything generation , started: 2023)

  • Genesis Ai (2023)
  • Edge Ai (2024)

The Thrive App were released for the previous (legacy) Starkey hearing aid generation

  • Livio, Livio Ai, Evolv Ai (2018 to 2021)

Thanks. Are any of the other Starkey apps interesting? Are some of those even older?

Honestly i have no information about the other apps. I never tried them out.

Thanks again. Maybe related. I understand that my audiologist will use Pro-Fit to do my fitting and configure my new Genesis hearing aids. I’d like to preview what she is going to do and think about any configuration choices that might be set.

Is there a good documentation (manual or video) that describes the procedure or a list of options available for my hearing aides?

EDIT: A bit of googling and I found the info. Will read. But thanks if you have any more insight. This is helpful.
