Which Android smart watch works with Oticon Real 1?

I am looking for an Android smart watch (or other wearable) that works with the Oticon Real 1. Does anybody have any experience here? Apple is not an option for several reasons.

Sorry, it is my understanding that the watch :watch: app is an apple exclusive offering.

Excuse my naïveté … I can’t just run the phone (Android) app on an Android watch? Does the app know which device it’s being run on?

My understanding is that android phones watches don’t work with Oticon, that is the reasonthat is the reason I hadwhich is why I had to get an iPhone.

The android smart watchs don’t connect to the Oticon aids. I wear the Samsung watch and have Oticon INTENT1 aids.

Starkey Edge AI cannot be controlled by my Pixel watch 2.
Would be nice if it could.

The watchOS app is specifically designed for a watch. It is effectively just a remote control. It doesn’t include all the features of the mobile app.

Thanks for that information. Interestingly, Oticon lists the Samsung Galaxy Watch4 as compatible - but compatible in which respect? Hearing aids compatibility | Oticon

I don’t know I have the Galaxy watch 5 and my wife the 6 and my aids don’t recognize either. Abs neither does the app.

Wives always have the one level up tech, don’t they? Same with us.
So, according to the website I linked, as I understand it, you can connect to the watch using the Connect Clip. But why would I want to stream from my watch using the connect clip when I can stream from my phone directly? I don’t understand this. What I do understand is that this watch (and anything other than the Apple Watch) won’t do what I would like it to do. And since Apple is not an option for various reasons, I will just live with it.

If you were out exercising without your phone, it might be nice to stream to the HAs from the watch.

My main wish with be program and other similar controls i get in my app.

Same here. My non-assisted hearing is sufficient to listen to music without the HAs while I’m exercising, so I can use anything from a 1980s walkman to a little MP3 player with earbuds or whatever. I don’t need anything special and I try to keep the HAs as dry and away from sweat and rain as possible.

Hope somebody from @oticon reads this forum!
