Where can I download Connexx 7.2 software?

Hi All,

I’m a particular user of a Siemens hearing aids and I would like to configure it by myself. I see in my hearing center, they are using Connexx 7.2 software to modify my device frequency values.

Is it possible to download this software to use it at home?

Thank you so much for your answers in advance.
Best regards,

Kitos.

You say that like it’s a bad thing. All of the Hi-Pros on EBay are Chinese knockoffs. They work great!

I do not share your vision of a better world where the HOH community queues up to await biased professional advice and then pay thousands for overvalued miniature speaker systems. I believe less affluent people suffer greatly under this business model. Maybe that’s why Costco is >>eating your lunch<< (so to speak) in the mid-range product market.

Back to my original point. As I begin to see intent more clearly, I’m thinking maybe this 5-star cheering is just sour grapes from disgruntled audiologists with diminished business prospects? Eh?

Though, I could be wrong! Maybe one of the 5-star cheering members could chime in to enlighten us.

I agree that the software is very expensive. Now days it cost a lot more to develop the software for aids than to design the hardware. So even if you could go to the company and get the software it could cost you a lot more than the aids.

I was speaking to your peanut gallery with my comment about eating your lunch.
But this is directly to you. Why do you resort to name calling when your debate logic fails?

So that we don’t get distracted from my original question, I noticed that no one has come forward to give a reason for the 5-star cheering. Perhaps they are too comfortable with the anonymity of 5-star cheering??

Not only that but I have seen people lose their jobs. And I have also seen very important software disappear or not being updated with needed updates due to companies not being able to afford to keep working on it due to software being used without being paid for.
And I had to tell you that even free software is not really free some one has to pay the developers that work in it.
Now days we can get beta software that is being worked on but what is really happening if you use the beta software, or even the free linux OS what is happening is that you are doing the testing for some company that will be saleing services to companies that use to enterprise version of that same software.
I love doing beta testing because I love working with new software, but even then I pay for it in the fact that I have to report to the developers what I find right as well as wrong with the software.

I fail to see how it is stealing when several manufactures provide download links directly on non-secure pages of their websites…

My

If you find the manufacturer that provides the software freely that is a different story completely. But I have not so far seen any of the major manufacturers provide their software freely

the software is now version 7.3…

How about you folks take the rating/smackdown debate elsewhere? Let’s return to the OPs question - does anyone know of a source for the latest (v7.3) Connexx software. If not, please don’t bother replying. If so, we’re all ears! :o

Siemens seems pretty tight with its software. When I got my initial HAs (Pure 701s), I purchases a HiPro unit and got Connexx with it. Once I got everything adjusted to my liking, I haven’t used it any more. I just got the new Pure 7bx HAs and the old Connexx (pre-v7) is apparently not compatible. I’ve got a pretty good audi now so am not so motivated to program them myself. If I can’t find the latest Siemens Connexx, I may just sell my HiPro and let my new audi (who does a good job adjusting and is nearby) take care of programming.

So if anyone knows of a source for the V7.x Connexx software, please share the info with those of us who’d like to get it.

Thanks

There is no source to legally download Siemens software.

I know a place where you can legally download Siemens software.
Oh wait, maybe not, that was a Candy Crush App.

On a more serious note…
Click the little magnifying glass icon top/right of this page,
Pull down the tab that says Search Entire Posts, Change it to say Search Titles Only,
Then search by typing “Connexx” in the box on the left and click Search Now.

If you can let me have the Siemens Connexx 6.5 with Sifit 6.3.10 which I need for my Siemens Pure Carat 701 hearing aids I will post a link for version 7

Doc Jake… when you are 76, pacemaker w defib, quad bypass, heart valve replaced & CHS, then have to drive 160 mi round trip in HEAVY big city traffic for adj & its a $50 to $150 charge each time, its very necessary to DIY . If there is ANYway to be able to HEAR, I’m willing to try. … Very depressing when you can’t hear your great grandchildren laugh.

Well, I understood you meant – 80 miles WITH city traffic. Don’t pay attention to Jakey; he’s our resident troll. And, you sentence structures put him to shame. Of late, he’s actually been a bit nicer that usual – scarry, what?

I though maybe getting a grandkid to drive and enjoy the day with you might work. Costco has some nice items for a gift for him.

It depends on what you take a city really is. Take a look at the DFW area with all of the connecting towns and cities that make it one continuous city. But even then there are many Costcos across the area,

Thanks KenP, … Doc Jake probably has some kind of trouble and needs to vent.

A Grandchild or Great Grandchild would be good but they are scattered from Dallas to Little Rock. … Our closest Costco is San Antonio. Terror traffic. I may be forced to try them. Sounds like good trials, warranty, etc. Have heard Audis not so swell. Expect cost about $3K to 5K. No appointments available for 60 days & 160 mi ea trip for adj, etc. Local (22mi) Beltone is $9,500. pair.
I bought the Intuis pair at $699 from India knowing it was a gamble. They work good, but only 1 channel (have 4 channels). I have been looking at labs online to reprogram $100 each .

Rexton also uses the Connexx software. Their current version as of Nov 2015 is Connexx 7.5.2/RexFit 7.5

It is freely downloadable from their web site. For free. No login or password required. File is 1.2gb. Connexx v6.5.5 is there as well.

If you have a early version of Siemens Connexx 7 installed you can install the Rexfit version on top of the Siemens version to upgrade Connexx to v7.5.2
Run the Update Manager after the install to get more updates. You may even get the Siemens updates
For more ideas look in the DIY area

I’ve got the Siemens Binax with Connexx 7.3. The update manager is returning an error. Will the combined RexFit software work for me?
