The new Bose SoundControl hearing aids are very good. They cost $850 with a 90 day trial, and are self-adjusting so no cost for an audiologist.
Hearing Revolution offers almost all of the hearing aids from the Big 6, and I’ve found their prices to be lower than Zip when I’ve compared the two.
If you spoke French you could go to France and buy a pair of premium devices for 2380 € 
And to refine the settings it could be done remotely via the manufacturer’s application. …
