What hearing aid features do I need?

Hello Everyone,
Great to be a mamber of this community.
I have work place adjustment for my hearing because I need to take accurate meeting minutes. I used to rely on Teams transcription feature but that had to stop because the new director did not want speach recorded due to topic sensitivity.
The photo was my test result yesterday. I have NHS hearing aids but can’t wear them under a headset with my glasses on as its too uncomfortable.
I am thinking of in ear hearing aids. I struggle to hear people who speak softly or when there is background noise. The audiologist said this is due to the sounds I can’t hear well and the words we speak ofter start and end in those sounds.
I can’t afford top quality hearing aids. I’m thinking of getting Specsavers own brand but I saw these are old technology on one website. Is that correct? What features do I need to ask for please given my hearing loss profile?
Thanks so much

Actually your loss is not so bad at all, any HAs could help you, but why Specsavers? Costco are far better and only sell the premium models, so no need to ask ā€œwhat featuresā€ do I need, you get them all! check them out first if possible.

Hi. Thank you. I did not know Costco did hearing aids. I will see if the local one has them. :slightly_smiling_face:
