At the advice of so many on this forum, I’m doing my homework
I had my first hearing test in 6 years 2 days ago by an audiologist locally. Have updated my audiogram.
My only history with HA are a pair of iHear Pro Max bought online 6 years ago online, and haven’t worn them much. I am now 2 days into a 30 day trial of Widex Moment 440. Hearing MUCH better and like the HA and the app, but not going to spend $5700.
I will most likely get the best Jabras I can that have disposable batteries, either through Jabra or Costco. Have an appointment Nov 25th.
As needed, later on I want to program them myself. I saw the audiologist do it and I don’t think it will be a problem, and I have the Windows computer. What hardware will I need? Software?
Has anyone gotten the more expensive Jabra models with disposable batteries at Costco Lately? Thanks
Hi there, you’ll need the Noahlink wireless programming device and SmartFit software, plenty of us doing DIY on those, they’re rebranded ReSound models, so plenty of information on them.
Hi Tenkan, How do I get hold of Noahlink Wireless and Smart Fit Software? My mum has recently got the hearing aid from Costco. They costco person has adjusted the hearing aids for her but she keeps complaining about clarity on speech. I used the app that Jabra has and adjusted some of the settings. the speech become clear after playing around the setting on the app.
Welcome to the forum, for the Noahlink wireless you can easily get from eBay, the software is easy enough to come by as well.
Do read the user guide as well, very handy for setting up the first time.
