Waterproof hearing aid case

I’m looking for a protective case for my hearing aids that I can carry around at all times, e.g. on my belt. I can buy or make a pouch for it if necessary, but would be nicer if it had a sturdy clip or loop already.
There is one past discussion that mentions only a Pelican case, which is kind of generic:

I found these two options:

Are there any “flatter” solutions? Like this (that one might be a bit flimsy):

For carrying on a belt, flat is nicer than bulky …

(Edit: took out a case for In-the-ear HAs only.)

Interesting as I wear my aids from when I get out of bed until I go to bed. I done take them off. Now if you are wanting to go swimming or in a rainy weather situation then that would be different. For rain conditions I wear a wide brim hat.

Yeah, it’s like for going swimming, being surprised by a rainstorm while outdoors, camping with the kids … That kind of thing.
Hats: My wide-brimmed hat goes flop when it gets wet …

I am 77 and if I go swimming I have a go pack with a charger for my aids and that is where they go. I wear a wide brim hat outdoors

Lots of options for waterproof belts, hikers would be used to the need to carry car keys and credit cards or a phone and keep them completly dry. Try your outdoor gear retailers.

Choose any belt container you like and add a ziplock sandwich bag to the interior. Problem solved. I motorcycle camp. I use ziplock bags for everything from laundry powder to cell phones to q-tips to medications.

Small Peli cases are good. Fwiw, I’d also put them in a dry-lock bag within the case too, just so you’re not 100% reliant on the case seal.

I ordered the Adco case this morning. $20 free shipping with a 30 day return policy. I’ll test it’s waterproofness and post here.
It would be great for a beach vacation when you’re in and out of the water and just hanging around sand for a good part of the day.

Thank you! Could you test the reliability of the clasp when the case is dropped? (Not sure whether you want to test that …)

I did quite some reasearch on micro-cases that are not marketed as “for hearing aids” specifically. There are some. I think the Adco is basically an S3 T1000, it looks identical. Could be that Adco buys them from S3 and outfits them with padding etc:

Another option is the Seahorse case:

Then, of course, the Pelican one. I am trying to find the smallest case that is still crush-proof and waterproof, so I did all that research. 1/2 inch thickness matters to me.

And in all this there is the irony that you are trying to protect your IP68 hearing aid in an IP67 case!

I don’t know that I’ll be doing the drop test… But I may do an unannounced report in the future.

Thanks! For the record, the smallest crushproof, waterproof case I found is this:

https://www.fuertecases.com/mm5/merchant.mvc?Screen=PROD&Product_Code=HPRC-1100

Interior Dimensions: 2.28 x 2.26 x 1.00" (5.80 x 5.70 x 2.50 cm)
LID DEPTH: .50" (1.28 cm) / BOTTOM DEPTH: .50" (1.28 cm)
Exterior Dimensions: 3.16 x 2.71 x 1.25" (8.00 x 6.90 x 3.20 cm)

I think this would be just so big enough for BTE aids with silicone domes. It’s IP67 like all the other cases mentioned here and has all the certificates for being a tough case. (Check their website for details.) In the end I did not go for that one, but if you are looking for the most compact solution for a tough and waterproof case, I think this is it.

It looks like it would be a veryclose fit.

Adco case arrived and it is plenty big enough for the Phillips 9050’s. Padding is fine, I won’t be tossing the case around so they won’t need to be nestled in deep foam. Tested for watertightness in a tub for 30 minutes and it passed. Again, don’t have plans to be anywhere near those conditions. I give it an A+.

Normal size for a in-your-pocket storage case I’d say:

Well, almost normal:
