New hearing aids today to replace older resound gn. Unable to lower hearing aids volume and app volume. Same on Streaming accessory.

Do you have the app paired with the hearing aids? Why can’t you reduce the volume using the app?

They have to ha e a backup person who can make adjustments.
Otherwise, return them.
Doesn’t she have an associate who can see you? Receiving the services of a hearing care professional is part of what you paid for when you bought the hearing aids. You said in your post that you just got them yesterday. Someone must have been there to do the fitting. If they just dispensed the hearing aids yesterday, she must have someone available to do adjustments. It’s very common for the initial fitting to need some tweaks within the first couple of weeks of use.
On my Jabras (also made by ReSound/GN) you can lower volume by briefly tapping button on left aid (former model it was the right aid!). One ear should turn it down, the other should turn it up. GL.
