Update ConnexxAir firmware

My ConnexxAir is not detecting Silk7x, but works fine with 5Px

I notice it has an old version of firmware (1.3) and wonder if this could be the cause of the problem

I have not managed to run the update, I have physically connected the connexxAir to USB (W11) but apart from the connection ping, there is no reaction, and running the install for the new firmware (I get a message on start up saying it is out of date) I get a message saying it is not connected to USB

Any suggestions?

Ok so that does seem to be the firmware update that’s stopping you from connecting to the X
Can you simply restart your PC and then open Connexx and then try, also got another PC you can try on? And last what version of Connexx software are you using.

Thanks. I am using Connex 9.11. I don’ have another PC to try it on but will give it a go when I am staying with friends next week

Success! I rebooted and restarted everything including a reset on the connexx air and followed the instructions. Once I connected the connexx to USB I was able to install the firmware update to 2.6, and could then detect my Silk 7x and read the setting info

I have not done anything to adjust them yet, but the existing setup by my audiologist seems to be just a simple Signia first fit! No wonder I have not been very happy with them

Hey thats fantastic news, great your now going to be able to set them up how you like them to sound, yes it’s common for the clinics to do a first fit and see how the client finds it out in the real world, probably only set at 80% of what you need as well!
