New here, and new to DIY fitting. But learning day by day…
But I have a problem and that is to update my TV Connector and my charger.
After starting the process “Accessories & Charger Update” I can see that both my accessories have an update waiting.
Starting the update in the smaller window that pops up and see present and new firmware, and click Update.
And now to the problem: Update starts, a small circle is spinning but after about 5s the spinning circle stops and the small window disappeares!
Nothing is done.
Same result with both charger and TV connector.
I have changed cables and tryed different USB-ports (PC Win11)
Today Target was updated from 9.1 to 9.1.1 (same result)
Hi tenkan.
In Target I can see that both my Charger and TV Connector have a new firmware waiting.
(Normally firmware updates exists for a reason so I keep all my thing updated normally.)
You got me curious. I tried it out and it doesn’t even recognize my connectors or charger. I was able to upgrade my roger on and the docks with roger upgrader, so I know the usb works. Little wheel spins round and round detecting the charger +/- the connectors.
I wish I could agree with this, but na, if your device is working as it should it’s just “bug fixes” (if it ain’t broke don’t fix it) the amount of time people update and then find it no longer works correctly…
Well, we dont really know if the devices is working as they should do we?
Maybe the charging cycle is optimized so the aid batteries will live a year longer???
Anyhow, Target on my pc dont work as it should right now.
And I am mostly worried that coming firmware updates for the hearing aids will fail in a similar way.
Yeah could be, but if your using them without issue then your good to go, but anyways doesn’t target let you know what the update is for, as for the firmware update for the HAs, I agree you wouldn’t want that happening if possible, in times past it was possible to brick them, also did you try uninstalling and reinstalling target, reboot PC and see if this changes anything.
Only thing I have not done, is a complete reinstall of Target. I did a update to 9.1.1 but there was no change in this problem.
But before doing that I wanted to know that anyone here accually have done a accessory update.
