TV Connector no longer works with cable channels

I have two TV Connectors. Both worked well until recently when one stopped working with our Spectrum cable channels. It works with Netflix, Prime TV and Samsung TV Plus. I’ve reset the Connector, but that didn’t help.

V1 or V2? Optical or analog? Is it possible that Spectrum has changed their audio output format? Is it all channels or just some? All programs or just some?

Not sure on V1 or V2. Optical. Again, I have two Connectors, used on two Samsung smart TVs. One works perfectly. Other works on Netflix, Prime TV and Samsung TV Plus. But not on Spectrum cable channels. I know it makes no sense. I exchanged the two Connectors with no difference.

V2 has buttons on the top.
I would be re-looking at the sound settings of the Spectrum box.

I guess it may be possible that:
Your TV or Set Top Box/DVR has different audio outputs settings when playing Apps than TV channels.
