Trying to set my own voice in signia connexx app 9.11.087

connexx 11 on a signia pure 7x (pair), a noahlink and version 9.11.087 (latest) with closed domes, I want to add my voice (OVP). After prep training and starting training, I do the voice input from 21 as suggested. However, the app returns with “Clients voice not detected”… I am doing something wrong but what is not obvious. No matter how many times I restart the OVP or reset the aids and the app and link again, I get no success. I had no issue with an earlier version of the app namely 8.3.0625. Is the answer to switch back to that version? What do I need to do to get v 11 of the app to recognize my voice?.

Hi there, well that’s interesting, should be pretty straight forward, your version is Connexx 9.9 if the latest, not 11?
But anyways here a little video of how it’s done, you do need to keep the ambient noise to a minimum.

I followed the video and yet no result. Leads me to think the app (signiaconnexxdiskset_9.11.0.87.exe) does not include the correct OVP process for pure 7x range of HA’s.
Version 9.9 was mentioned which I do not have. Any one have a location so I can try that, please.

What is the exact model of 7X you have? I’ll check later to see what’s happening, but it’s not important to do this anyway, it doesn’t really do a lot for what you hear from other people, just your own voice, bumps the lower frequencys down so it’s not so “booming” or head in a barrel sounding, I tried it a while back and didn’t bother me, if you have open or a decent size vent you shouldn’t need it.

The good thing about Connexx is it has its own update manager, use it to get the latest version, seems it’s country dependant for some updates tho.

with that good advice (ignore OVP) and I shall move on with an older version 98551
Using Pure 7x 312: to reset in preparation for connection to connexx via noahlink, open the battery compartment and close it. The noahlink wireless can then detect it.
Using signia pure c&g 1ax: no battery so how to reset it so noahllink can detect?

Yeah in this case I believe you hold the button down for 3 seconds or more and that turns them on, this is the bottom part of the toggle button, but you can also just pop them into the charger and then remove them, this turns them on as well.
Remember you only get a few minutes in paring mode, so just wait 10 seconds or so after turning on and then click connect the Noahlink should find them straight away.

Sorry I ment to add this video as well.
