First I want to share my experience using the signia pure charge and go ax level 7.
So far so good is been one of the best hearing aids I’ve ever used in my life but is a big but, there are some things that i don’t like with this hearing aids and is that it has this problem of mute sound while the hearing aid is still on.
Let me explain myself you can be using this hearing aids on a normal day doing normal chores like working, exercising, playing, hearing music, etc. But while you are doing whatever activity this problem of lost the sound will happen in one of your hearing aids and the temporal solution that I have found is to put the hearing aids back in the charger for about 10 min and then is back to normal. Do you guys have experienced this type of problem or something related ? Or is just a defective unit ? Let me know please.
So your saying one or the other just cuts out completely, doesn’t matter which one? and stays shut off until you reboot. Did it just start doing this or has it always been a problem? check the basics, wax filters, receiver wire etc
what kind of phone are you using for your app? How’s the bluetooth connection?
It just started doing that at the beginning i thought it was some kind of glitch but lately it has been more frequently. Funny thing as i showed in the picture the hearing aid is still on but no sound at all unless i reboot it through the charger. The rics, filters and other things are in new i recently changed them.
I am using a Samsung galaxy note 9.
The Bluetooth connection is good, sometimes the has disconnect but i just go to configuration to reconnect them and they work again.

On the app the screen where see the volume, program, balance etc there is a symbol bottom right -| |- that will show the volume of the right and left aid

I have the 7IX. I hav had the “outage” happen with the app showing both working BUT…it only applies to the BT stream, not the function of the aid. Resetting the bluetooth on the phone restpred it. There was an update done by the audiologist (remote) and they are way more stable including sound quality. Does any of this sound like your experience or is there a firmware update addressing this?
Yep, the app sucks. On my Iphone I can access the signia. aids through the phone menu. It’s far more reliable. also turning off the phone and then restarting it solves the issue I have with the app for a time. But I don’t have the issue of sound cutting out like you do.
Interesting so for you this only happens when u are using the bt streaming functionalities ? I will ask my audi to check about the firmware to see if is updated or not. I guess is something similar but the difference is my has shut off with or without the bt functionality weird thing for real.
Yep the app is laggy and sometime would full crash out trying to recognize the hearing aids.
I have Signia 7IX BI-CROS aids and often they just cut out when on a phone call. My phone is a Samsung A53. Something in my phone seems to “take over” and cut off bluetooth from the phone to aids. I suspect it has something to do with Windows 11 Phone Link app which can also connect to the phone via BT so the PC can act as a speakerphone or I can receive&send texts from my PC or run my phone from my PC.
I see, it seems that the has are not configured to use with one or more devices at the same time
Had the same problem, took them back and they replace them with new ones…no problem now.
Yep in the end I think it was that too, since my audi will be giving me a new pair next week.
