I have SSD (the cochlea on my left side is destroyed). I have an Oticon Ponto 4 on loan to try it out, and it has been explained to me that if I were to get the implant the sound would be clearer than what I’m hearing with the Oticon just sitting outside my head.
For anyone who has a BAHA, to what degree would you say the implant is clearer than the trial version? I will be choosing between a BAHA and a Cros in the near future.
