Tips for not losing your hearing aids

Depends. Some charge $300 deductable. Others charge you on the backend, $5000 - $7000 instead of $1600 per pair. And other providers charge an insurance rate, $200 or so for coverage for 1-3 years.

By charge more on the backend, do you mean charge more for their aids and bundled services versus Costco?

Is the $300 deductible something the hearing aid manufacturer’s charge or is that practice specific? I didn’t get any written warranty or loss coverage terms.

Yes, the providers I have talked to that give free replacements are significantly more expensive. Others that are less expensive charge a deductible, $300 seems a common amount. And finally I have talked to a few cheaper providers who simply charge for coverage for 1-3 years for around $2-300.

So of all the providers I have spoken to Costco is the most “free” when it comes to replacements.
