After several months unable to afford the replacement I finally paid up - but the replacement aid was unusable. It gave out a maximum amplification that was far beyond my tolerance level. Disappointingly I have had to stop using it while I wait 6 weeks for a re-check. I suspect that it was not actually programmed. Dog barking, restaurant noise, wind noise - all far too loud for me.
That odd if they copied your old settings?!

Are you using the same type of dome, as this can make a difference?
Have you tried decreasing the volume? (Either with buttons or an app?)
