Hi, I seem to be asking silly questions of late and this one is no exception. I shall eventually learn.
I have a new pair of Phonak Lumity 70’s. I have just ordered from amazon spain 64 J.B.White Cerushield disc audeo Marvel Paradise 8 round filter dispensers. I have just recieved 8 JBWhite discs each containing 8 Cermenfilter filters. Are these the wrong filters or simply a different name but suitable for the L70’s. From what I can see, amazon have sent the wrong filters.TIA.
Hi BarryH, Thanks very much but am confused. My audio`guy gave me a disc of 8 filters marked CeruShield 098-0445 and I have used one which is a perfect fit. Are you saying that the Cerumen filters are correct for my L70 and not the CeruShield filters. Perhaps I have misunderstand you.thanks jack
Cerushield filters 098-0445 are correct for the Lumity with the 4 receiver. So your purchase from Amazon should be fine. The 5 receiver uses the Cerustop filters.
Hi BarryH, many thanks. I must win the prize for thickest member.
I ordered CeruShield for phonak 4 which is exactly what I got from my Audiologist. They were confirmed in the order. However amazon sent me 8 discs of Cerumenfilter, not CeruShields. Are these two one and the same please. jack
As long as they are discs they should be the same. It’s maybe a copyright thing, if they are not made by Phonak, they probably have to use another name i.e Cerumenfilter.
Hint: search “Cerushield filters 098-0445” on eBay…
Thanks but already looked on ebay and more expensive than amazon and long posting from china so delays. Perhaps Connivans sell them. thanks jack
