Testing Signia App

The sound produced when a Signia Hearing Aid is removed from its charger does NOT test the cell-phone App functions.

Test Bluetooth Connectivity Use Hearing-Aids Status screen

If cannot establish Bluetooth connectivity then

  1. Check if cell-phone is compatible. https://www.signia.net/en-us/support/compatibility/
  2. Use online resources https://www.signia.net/en-us/connectivity/signia-app/
  3. Call Signia telephone support 1-800-350-6093 (8a-8p m-f ET)
  4. Contact your local provider.

Test APP Sound

  1. Set phone volume to maximum. Test in quiet room.
  2. Open Volume screen

  1. Move one slider (left or right) down to zero. A soft sound should be heard in that ear.
  2. Move other slider down to zero for the other ear. Same soft sound should be heard in the other ear.

Test External Sound

  1. Start external sound (example: radio or music), not from cell phone.
  2. In volume screen, move left-slider to maximum (15) and right-slider to minimum (0). External sound in left ear should be greater.
  3. Reverse sliders. move Right-slider to maximum (15) and Left-slider to minimum (0). External sound in Right ear should be greater.
  4. Restore both sliders to default (8).
  5. Note sliders affect external sound quality, not sounds from cell phone
