The sound produced when a Signia Hearing Aid is removed from its charger does NOT test the cell-phone App functions.
Test Bluetooth Connectivity Use Hearing-Aids Status screen
If cannot establish Bluetooth connectivity then

- Call Signia telephone support 1-800-350-6093 (8a-8p m-f ET)
- Contact your local provider.
Test APP Sound
- Set phone volume to maximum. Test in quiet room.
- Open Volume screen
- Move one slider (left or right) down to zero. A soft sound should be heard in that ear.
- Move other slider down to zero for the other ear. Same soft sound should be heard in the other ear.
Test External Sound
- Start external sound (example: radio or music), not from cell phone.
- In volume screen, move left-slider to maximum (15) and right-slider to minimum (0). External sound in left ear should be greater.
- Reverse sliders. move Right-slider to maximum (15) and Left-slider to minimum (0). External sound in Right ear should be greater.
- Restore both sliders to default (8).
- Note sliders affect external sound quality, not sounds from cell phone
