Target 8 warranty check

Anybody found the warranty check function in Target 8 yet? I can’t find it anywhere.

Warranty check? I don’t think the software would know what paperwork was signed?

I’m taking about putting the serial number in and checking the date of expiry, like you showed me about four years ago.

oic; Sorry;

Hi, eService isn’t there?

HMm; I selected a client. Then when starting a fitting session I used the session pulldown menu to select “Training”. Then I think I selected the hearing aids. I will check again.

ETA: It may have to connect to the hearing instruments first before it can check the warranty. When I look back on my simulation/Training session (Check warranty) was grayed-out.

ETA: HMm; Since one of the options of “eService” is to Buy Hearing Aids and Accessories I am wondering if a Phonakpro login may be required?

It’s a mystery to me( Orbison)

Not sure if this is the one:

You will need to select trial & Tools BEFORE selecting Clients & Sessions

Yep that’s it, just put the serial numbers in there and bingo.

I don’t have “Warranty” in Trial & tools . I wonder why?

I see it on Target 8.0.2. You have to click “Trial & tools” immediately/first thing like @Baltazard said.

As you can see in the screenshot also use Target 8.0.2. But warrenty does not appear…

Sometimes when you install Target using a different location/country (not language) then you get different results. Mine was installed as USA location.

Ok, I see. This must be the reason.
I’m in Switzerland.

I don’t have it either.

Bummer.

If you have a spare computer, maybe try installing Target as a USA location, and then uninstalling Target after you access the warranty check?

@michael1 you don’t have it because of the Nathos code, you’ve entered.

@pvc

Yes that’s why, if you install for USA, you’ll have no problem, the thing is, I’ve always wondered why the software would be different for different countries, doesn’t seem to make sense.

@tenkan

@michael1 has a locked Target version for programming NHS Aids.

It doesn’t allow for upgrade of newer softwares and doesn’t have a warranty check amongst other stuff as well.
