Streaming quality - Phonak Lumity 90 Vs. Oticon More 1 (or real 1)

Can anyone chime in on the differences, sonically, with streaming between these two?
I was using Widex 440 Moment and when I moved to the Phonaks, the difference in streaming quality was quite remarkable. I’m curious to know if there’s a similar difference between the Phonaks and Oticon.

Well the only real difference is between Phonak classic Bluetooth and the “others” which is MFi or ASHA (LE Bluetooth) how you hear when streaming is all to do with the programming of your HAs, especially the streaming program for music and phone calls, use the search button from right here on hearingtracker to find out more information about this, of just use uncle google ; )

I have both Oticon and Phonak. I prefer the streaming of Oticon in sound but I’ve realised the Phonak Bluetooth range is a lot bigger then Oticon.

Another HUGE factor is the choice of Acoustics used.
Open Domes = zero Bass
Closed Molds = OK bass, but occlusion.

Hard to find a middle ground.
My formula for Music streaming is:
Use the dedicated Music Program.
Insure you or your audi have set the Bass for Max in the Phone settings section of Target or Genie2.
Use the App EQ to fine tune.
Use a decent music source like Tidal or amazon or Deezer.
Use cotton behind your domes or earmolds for a better seal.
Mute your HA Mics.

I gave up on streaming, and went back to Wired IEM’s! What a profound difference.
I’ve ordered a Bluetooth DAC to make them wireless, and I’m stoked!

My best results have been with Lumity L90s with Activevents and custom molds. I stream from Tidal and Amazon Music and Radio Paradise most of the day. I can still balance (in the Phonak app on Android or iPhone) how much surrounding sound sources I hear with the streaming music. I think the Activevents are preventing any occulsion problems.
