I wear one ITE aid. How do I use a stethoscope with it? Does just putting in one ear work? I tried letting the aid side just sit on my aid but that was extremely uncomfortable. Or any better solution?
I’m not a professional in this area so no need for specialized stethoscope but I do have a need to use a scope infrequently to check on furry patients. My loss is mild so I can take it out and not have issues, but I’m afraid I’m going to lose it as take it off, put on scope, remove scope, and put aid back on.

My doctor has bilat hearing aids, and uses a stethoscope that links to (edited to correct) her hearing aids via Bluetooth. Since you say you don’t need a specialized piece of equipment, let’s address the concern about hearing aid loss. They do make lanyards for hearing aids that clip to your clothing. That way, you can take your hearing aid out to use your stethoscope without fear of losing your hearing aid. I hope this is helpful!

Would a hearing aid clip to retain the hearing aid be a workable solution? At least the aids won’t get lost.

When using a stethoscope with hearing aids, the hearing aid microphone remains on while you listen to the stethoscope. This may prove distracting because the sounds in the room will continue to be amplified through the hearing aids.
How about a digital stethoscope?
@PianoJoy if your hearing aids have BT you’re much better off getting a digital stethoscope.
You will find that the following companies all have excellent digital stethoscopes.
Eko
Thinklabs
Amphl
Littmann.

Didn’t know there are clips for aids!
I ended up stuffing it in my pocket, thankfully I had deep pockets, but then when I removed them from my pocket a few hours later, for the first time it wouldn’t turn on (turned on a few hours later). I assume it was because it was hot and muggy in my pocket, a clip would be much better.
In my search, it seems for ITE kinds, you have to get loop screwed in. My CIC/IIC has no space (unless you screw it into the vent hole, which I very much need).
I am not a professional to make purchasing a special stethoscope worth it. We, volunteer assistants, even borrow from pile of scopes.
If your pockets are large enough, maybe a container (with a dessicant) that you could put your hearing aid into would be a way to keep it safe and functional.
Edited to add: Is there a pull-stem that you use to remove your hearing aid, that might allow for clip attachment?
