OK, I thought I might want a Starkey Remote Microphone +. In addition to meetings and TV, I am wondering if it will help with phone calls and audio streaming.
My Genesis aids are paired to my iPhone but the bluetooth is really bad. I can’t stream or take a call unless holding the phone in front of my face.
Will I be happy with the Remote Mic +? And, how smoothly does it work? If my H/As are already paired with my phone, will the Remote Mic+ take precedence if it is available? I want to be able to just take the call and know it will work without having to do anything special. I assume I will have a better call experience (better connectivity and better mic).
I know I need to buy the right model number that works with the Genesis (there are older models that look the same but only work with older hearing aids). Can I pair and use it right away, or do I need to have changes made in Pro-Fit to be able to control this accessory?
