Buzz is the word: whenever I enter a gas station, shop, or my church, etc. one hearing aid develops a loud buzzing static sound. By turning the hearing aid off and then on, I am able to get the aid to stop this annoying sound.
My clinic has swapped aids, turned off some features, but nothing has corrected the problem.
I’m seeking out a resolution.
Whistle blocker, frequency lowering, T-coil…
Might be shielding issue with the aids picking up the interference from loops, security screens and sensing cameras.
Sounds like the t-coil is active. When the t-coil is on, you pick up electronic noise.
It looks like your aids have the tele-coil active. Ask the audiologist to turn it off. You should be able to hear your phone calls via Bluetooth.
