Starkey Genesis AI rechargeable wearer here. Hearing aids for more than 10 years, and upgraded to BTE rechargeable Genesis AI last April. Had some glitches in software program a few times, but this weekend, holiday weekend of course, suddenly unable to hear in personal program mode (no customization by me). Works somewhat in restaurant program and TV program. Self check indicates microphone not working. Wax guards are replaced frequently and aids cleaned daily. Any ideas? Holiday weekend, so no help online or in office. Iām sitting here very disappointed, frustrated, and unable to hear except in a program that has LOTS of noise (I can hear the A/C fan and everything else in the house). Anybody else having these issues?
Time for an appointment with your audiologist and more than likely get your aids repaired.
