Does anyone know if the latest Genesis AI firmware update incorporates the Edge Mode + in the default settings?
In other words you don’t have to turn on the Edge Mode + anymore.
I highly doubt it. My understanding, from talking with Starkey’s Chief Audiologist, is that Edge Mode+ takes an aural snapshot of your current situation and tailors the amplification, directionality and noise reduction parameters to the situation. If the listening a ituation changes, you need to re-activate Edge Mode to take a new aural snapshot. Thus it makes no sense for it to be a default mode.

Yes, the latest Genesis AI firmware update automatically enables Edge+ mode in default settings. Now there is no need to manually enable this mode after the update.
