new to hearing aids, I have a set Starkey hearing aids 1600ric don’t seem to be working to good been back to the audiologist a more times than I can count there fine when I leave, the next day there terrible, my audiologist tells there fine, wondering if its time for a new audiologist.

You need to explain what not working to good means.
Especially if you are new to hearing aids.
There are people hear who are very smart that can help you, but they need to know what you mean.
meaning, when my audio. first set them they were fine. about a week couldn’t hear people talking 2 ft away from me, back to the audio, she says they are working fine, makes an adjustment there good for awhile same thing, I know there working cause back round noise is incredible, people talking can’t hear a thing even in a quite setting, I don’t even wear them anymore.
This is a common complaint for new users.
If you research the site you will see about brain adjustment.
You have to try to give yourself time to adjust.
When I first got mine all I could hear was noise. I complained to the audi. They weren’t worth a crap.
Hearing aids take commitment.
They are not like glasses.
If you feel they are not fit correctly keep going back to the audi.
If they can’t help you find another audi especially if they are in the return window.
As stated, posting your audiogram can help the members help you.
thanks for reply, as I understand hearing aids take some time to adjust to, I think what’s happing is they be resetting to a default setting when I put them in the charger, when I get them reset there fine a day or two later, can’t have a conversation with my wife in a quite setting. I did post the Audiogram . Again thanks for the reply
