Soft high pitch interference noise only during phone calls - Edge AI 24 Customised - iPhone 13 - Issue started happening after iOS 18.4.1.
Is there any Edge AI users that have noticed a phonecall interference issue with their Edge AI hearing aids (particularly customised hearing aids) when using an iPhone after dialling and prior to connection that then continues during the phonecall?
Our customer describes it as a whining noise that starts as soon as the number is dialled and is continuous during the phonecall particularly in moments of quiet. We have tested it ourselves on an iPhone 15 /13 / 8 and hear the noise as a soft high pitch interference.
This interference does not happen at any other time or when streaming.
Our customer has reported the issue as happening since the iOS 18.4.1 update from mid-April, it was fine prior to this. The latest update to iOS 18.5 has not resolved the issue.
We are liaising with Starkey Tech Support who have made mention of a known issue but I was wondering if any other Edge users have noticed this problem?
We are hoping a new pair of Starkey hearing aids (one of their suggestions) may resolve the issue but I’m not convinced.
