I have a Stapedotomy coming up later this summer and I am wondering, the doctor said that i cannot wear my HA in that ear for two weeks, does anyone know if i can get a hearing test done immediately after those two weeks, and have my HA adjusted?
Also, I have a previously planned golf trip two weeks after surgery, if all goes well, should i expect to have full mobility/balance by then?

I worked for a surgeon in the past and we were able to complete testing two weeks post surgery. The surgeon will notify you if he feels that you have healed enough to wear your hearing aids by then.
As far as balance, I would stay positive and plan for the best- it is hard to say due to peoples recovery being different case by case.
