Continuing problem with Specsavers. I am not happy with the new HA supplied by Specsavers . I had an appointment today to discuss my HA. ( Its not suitable for my needs ) . I also asked if I could have a copy of my Audiogram sent Via Email . After waiting for most of the day it has not been sent . I called Specsavers ( very politely) if they would remind the audiologist . Still no Audiogram . I will call again tomorrow to remind them . However I am not holding out much hope. Question is…Are they obliged to send it . If I go elsewhere for a test am I obliged to buy a hearing Aid from them.
No, they’re not obliged to send you or give you your audiogram.
No, you’re not obliged to buy from anyone, but check if the audio test is free and ask beforehand if you could have a copy of your audiogram.

I found after dealing with Specsavers some years ago, they were not happy to let customers have copies of their audiogram. If you are still in your trial period and you return the aid, there won’t be any charge for your test.

IMO, for what that’s worth…Some of Specsavers practices leave a lot to be desired. I would avoid Specsavers whenever possible! Personally, I had a bad experience with them, so I will not be going back, for aids or indeed glasses, I have been getting my glasses there for many years…I have never been refused an Audiogram, even from the NHS, it is your Audiogram, and you are perfectly within your rights to ask politely for a copy…Cheers Kev
