[SOLVED] Jango Radio doesn't work with my Oticon Real 2s

Edit: I think I have found a workaround for this issue. I disabled “Alternative Streaming Mode” under Settings > “Advanced Options” in the Jango Radio app, and it seems to work fine now.

Just got a set of Oticon Real 2s, and I’m having a weird issue. I’ve tried a bunch of apps with Bluetooth streaming, and they all work fine, except for my primary music app: Jango Radio.

Jango has its own volume control, but I’ve adjusted it – still no sound at all. The left HA is definitely on and paired, and its volume is not turned down in the Oticon Companion app.

I’ve tried restarting my phone, and the HAs.

To summarize:

  • Other streaming apps work fine (Newpipe, YouTube, LiveOne Radio)
  • Jango works through the phone speaker
  • Jango works when connected to my Bluetooth speakers
  • Jango worked with my Phonak L70 HAs

Can anyone tell me what might be going on here? I suspect it has something to do with the type/version of Bluetooth that the Real 2s use, and the Jango app doesn’t know how to stream to it.
