Does anyone know if it’s possible to run a hearing aid app on a smart watch that is not paired to a phone?
If the HA’s are paired to the phone and the app is on the phone, you can use the app on your smart watch to control the HA’s.
Unfortunately this is not the case.
I have a Samsung A34 and a Watch6 Classic and it is not possible to have the MyPhonak app on the smartwatch. I also wrote to Phonak and they told me that the possibility of having the app on the smartwatch is being studied.
I believe Oticon has an app on apple watch.
They do, but in order to use it you have to have the app running on your phone, which leads me to believe that you NEED to have the phone. I don’t have my phone on me right now, and just tried to open the app on my apple watch and it just tells me to connect my hearing aids to my watch. I’m not sure if you can do that wthout a phone? (Im not sure since I have them both connected to a phone anyay)
I called Oticon and they said yes, that you do need to have your phone running…
are there any apps for android smartwatches?
I have a Garmin Fenix, and I’m not aware of any functionality
I haven’t historically used the app all that much though
but lately with all the changes I have from time to time… this morning for example since these loaners aren’t set up and balanced properly I had to go into the app and adjust the ambient to streaming balance while on my walk listening to a podcast. Sure would have been handy to be able to do that on my watch!
I have the Samsung S23 snd Samsung Watch 5 and no there isn’t an app for the watch from Oticon. I have the INTENT1 aids and I have requested that Oticon look into creating an app .
