Smart 3 D app with new nexia hearing aid and streamer

I recently got nexia hearing aids and a streamer + designed for nexia. I cannot get smart 3d app to work. I read and reread instructions and watched utube videos. I have followed all instructions. I have an iPhone 11. I tried forget this device and start over multiple my hearing aids are connected to my iPhone and work correctly. It shows connected on iPhone but when I get to Smart 3d app I only get a red screen saying hearing aids not connected. HELP

I suggest follow this sequence.

  1. delete the Smart 3D app. When you get a message saying this will delete all the settings, just confirm that.

  2. forget the hearing aids from your iPhone.

  3. Restart your iPhone.

  4. Download a new copy of Smart 3D from the App Store but don’t start it yet.

  5. Restart your hearing aids and immediately go into settings on the iPhone and find where you add MFI hearing aids (it’s in Accessibility -Hearing Devices).

6)Your hearing aids should show up as possible devices and tap on both. They will connect to your iPhone. You should get the audible warble from each to show they are both connected.

7)Now start the Smart 3D app by tapping on it. Then follow the prompts to pair the hearing aids with the app. You will have to restart the hearing aids again (this is just so the app knows that it is connecting to the right hearing aids).

  1. That should be it. If any of those instructions aren’t clear, just ask and I will explain better!
