I am using Signia Insio 5IX CIC and I’m trying to program this myself. I already have the Connexx software, I am going to purchase a HI-PRO as soon as I find out which cables i need for these… Apparently CS44 are not what I need, but I can see someone posting something about CS56 as adapters, but they are absolutely nowhere to be found.
If anyone knows where to buy these it would be a lifesaver…
The CS44 don’t work by themselves, as I mentioned they must be connected to the correct flex connection as per screenshot , yeah so plenty of discussion on hearingtracker on how to connect this, actually you don’t need CS44 if you go with the CS63 and CS53 connection as per my discussion here. So all these will be around on AliExpress or similar for sure, but still harder to find nowadays.
Contrary to what you’ve added, it’s CS44 or CS44a, these two cables do 90% of HAs, using the search button from right here on hearingtracker gives plenty more information on these.
Thank you Tenkan for the details. But do we know for sure that a flex cable works for me? Because i checked inside the battery slot and in the place where i would insert the flex cable, there are no connectors. The only connectors are the ones on sides that touch the battery.
@boasting372 I only had the silk models and not insio, but Signia as per screenshot say the insio are programmed the same, so you need the battery in to power the HAs while programming, you slip the connector in the top of the battery door so I’m guessing you can’t actually see where they connect?
I found out that the cables are called “i3 fitting cables”. However i can’t find anything. I tried to call at different clinics and apparently they all say that signia is just borrowing them but they need them back, so clinics can’t sell them…
They are absolutely nowhere to be found because they just came out about a year ago, and didn’t reach china market yet…
Oh that’s unfortunate, yeah if you can’t find it in AliExpress or similar then I can’t see where else your going to buy them, especially if they only “lend” them out, sounds most unlikely! Just keep checking on the interwebs and I’m sure they’ll come up for sale from somewhere, good luck.
Could you take some photos of the i3 fitting cable. Different view of both ends would be helpful. Online shopper just needs some photos to identify the cable.
