I have noticed two significant changes in Connexx 9. First it now estimates where the potential feedback areas of gain are, and shades them in red and blue. I do find the areas of feedback are a bit optimistic though, especially for custom molds. Second there seems to have been a change in the SmartFit prescription formula gain. It now seems to recommend more gain, and is smoother across the frequency range, rather than closely following the individual’s specific loss. It is more like NAL-NL2.
Greetings everyone, honored ones!
I need your help very much. Can someone give me a step-by-step algorithm for backing up the current settings of my hearing aids in Connexx?
I tried to do, save sessions, thought I saved. I ended up hitting builds and couldn’t get the old ones back. Had to go to the doctor again to restore. What exactly is the item to save all the settings so that if anything happens, I can get them back?
I will be very grateful!
Hi there, yeah so it’s pretty easy, you first need to make up 2 clients in Connexx, one for your audiologist settings and one for your DIY projects, once you’ve done that you’ll always be able to go back to your original settings if need be, check out your PM and I’ll send the user guides for using Connexx.
Thank you so much!
I understand correctly, if I don’t need an initial setup, but to make some changes to the current setup, I still create a new patient card first, connect the machines to the current setup. Then I save the session. And all settings are saved?
Then I create a new patient, go in again with the current settings, I can change anything, and in case of failure go back to the first patient?
Yes that’s about right, you’ll probably find you won’t ever need to back tho, I’m sure you’ll make the improvements your looking for and be happy with those.
