Thats so good to hear @tenkan . Thats all im here to do. I dont have a practice, not trying to sell any hearing aids, just here for you  And im always trying to learn more about the models ive never fit. Like starkey, id love to fit me some starkey hearing aids but never had the chance. And oticon, ive only ever fit the Philips, we will just call them cousins for now since i cant confirm yet how closely related they are. Im downloading the oticon fitting software where i can really get in there and compare the number of fittiing bands, advanced features and everything else. That will telll me everything so i can finally solve “are philips the same as oticon?” Questions

Hi, I am new to the hearing club. Could you let me know that the hearing aids selling by Costco are unlocked and can be programed by the user? Do all hearing aids use the same hardware and software to program? Thanks.

Welcome to the forum, sure all HAs sold by Costco are unlocked, they also only sell the premium models, so a very good deal all round.
You’ll need the correct programming software for each brand you intend to DIY.
You use the same hardware the Noahlink wireless programming device, this is for RIC and BTE and some ITE.

Thanks. Looking forward to get one from Costco. I think getting one is easy but finding a good fitter is important.
