Setting to ignore incoming calls Android 13?

My Jabra Enhance Pros connected to my Android 13 Google Pixel 7 Pro work beautifully EXCEPT for one annoying habit: Incoming call audio ALWAYS switches to the HAs. Is there are setting anywhere in Android 12 or 13 to prevent call audio being switched to the HAs? I’d much rather have the calls come through the car audio as would happen if I turn the HAs OFF, which if often not a good option.

Disconnect the phone from the HAs in BT when in the car?

During a call, middle right side of screen there is a drop down button where you can select the output. It sounds like it is going to be labeled hearing aids… Tap on that button and change it to the car audio system.

This is a work around, I’m not aware of a way to change the default behaviour. That doesn’t mean there isn’t a way. You could post your question to Google Support Pixel Phone Help

For reference, on the iPhone with MFI aids there are separate audio routing options for calls or media. The 3 options for each are Always Hearing, Never Hearing, or the default of Automatic. I have never changed from the defaults though.

There are also on/off options for playing ringtones and system sounds. When I first got MFi aids the ringtones would not play through the aids.

Probably not a great idea if call rings in while driving LOL!

When you start your car, go yo Android Settings>Connected Devices>Media Devices>choose Auto’s Bluetooth.
Assuming you are paired to it. Otherwise, enable pairing, and then choose it.

Just one tap more than answering a call.

That might be too much for some people, maybe they shouldn’t be driving!

Swipes up to answer call>looks at screen to select source> CRASH!!!
But Occifer, it was just one more tap :iphone:
