Has anyone bought the Sennheiser Sonite R HA from Costco yet? If so how would you rate it?
Welcome to the forum, yeah there’s been a bit of discussion on them, they’re rebranded Phonak Lumity models.

Thanks for the reply. I knew that they were rebranded Phonak Lumity HA’s, but I was wondering how they stack up against the other Costco HA brands. I was interested in the classic BT functionality (for my older Android phone) that the other Costco brands don’t have. I was hoping that the basic HA functionality would be fine for my moderate high frequency hearing loss…
These aids should be really nice. Not the latest and greatest but very nice. We have many happy members using the Phonak Lumity hearing aids.
If my wife needed new hearing aids these Sennheiser aids would be the ones I recommend.
Yeah as @Raudrive says, for the bluetooth classic you want the other’s are ASHA and LE Audio, still seems to some issues if you don’t line them up with the correct android phone, Samsung, Pixel.
The Sennheiser Sonite R seems to hook up to my Samsung Galaxy S8 phone with no problems.
Yeah anything with classic Bluetooth 4.2 work’s perfectly
My phone is an LG Phoenix 4 running 8.1.0 with BT 4.2, which is to say pretty old by cell phone standards. It works flawlessly with my Lumitys.
I just bought them and picked them up today after having them fitted. I bought these to replace my KS 10s and I think they are excellent even allowing me to reuse all of my accessories that I purchased for the KS 10s. The only minor issue that I have encountered so far that I am trying to figure out is how to audio streaming from my phone which is a Samsung A 53 and the easy line listening app to work at the same time. These hearing aids are as said almost identical to the Lumity but it does not include something called:
ASHA or LE Audio
I am looking for a way around this and will let you know if I find out something. I will not return them for this if needed I can unpair the phone to the hearing aids just to use the Easy Line app if I only need to use it occasionally and vice versa. if anyone else figures out a way to have both audio streaming from the phone working the ability to have the Easy Line app running please let me know.
Pretty sure the Lumity have BLE for the app, and classic Bluetooth for direct streaming to your HAs for media and call’s.
Have you forgot your old aids on that phone?
You might talk to your Costco provider. Mine always sets things like that up for me on my phone.
I have the same concerns, but haven’t worked on it much. I think that you have to turn your HA’s off and on so that they are broadcasting BT signals and then connect them to your smart phone. I also have the app connected, but haven’t tried streaming music or receiving phone calls yet…AL
