Sennheiser Costco TV connector vs Phonak TV Connector V2

I’ve purchased the Sennheiser All Day Clear HA’s and am having very good results with them. I special ordered the $99 Costco Sennheiser TV connector and that also works very well. However, the range is very limited in my opinion. When I walk into the next room to do anything or go to the restroom, I lose the connection and have to reconnect. I have heard the Phonak TV Connector V2 might provide a better range so I don’t keep disconnecting. I have ordered a refurbished Phonak Tv Connector v2 and it will be here this coming Monday. I will update you on the range, and if it’s significantly better, I will be returning the Costco Sennheiser TV connector as I find it annoying since I’m always going into other rooms and losing the connection. If you have insight into this please comment. Thanks

I have a tv connector that I got with my KS9 aids from Costco. It keeps the connection when I walk into my kitchen, which is down a short hall and probably 15’ away. The connection drops past the middle of the kitchen, though, or if I do something like stick my head in the refrigerator. The bathroom is closer, so it’s no problem. My device connects automatically, so reconnecting isn’t a problem, although that can be annoying in some other situations.

Recently I got Phonak Lumity aids, and they work with the connector exactly the same as the KS9s did and have the same range. IMO the device just isn’t made to let you walk far.
