Self-programming for changing PHONAK hearing aids

HI everyone,

Under the guidance and shared experiences of the forum , I have started learning self-programming. I have some questions I would like to ask .

My current situation is as follows:
1.I have purchased a Noahlink Wireless and installed it with PHONAK TARGET.
2.I have read the target user guides.
3.I have successfully connected the KS9.0 to TARGET and saved the settings for the KS9.0 in TARGET.

I am currently planning to purchase a second-hand LUMITY for self-programming. I would like to ask :

1.Is it feasible to directly import the settings from the KS9.0 to the LUMITY? How can I do this?
2.If the above method is feasible, will all effects and settings be the same as the original KS9.0 after importing into LUMITY?
3.After importing into LUMITY, do I need to see an audiologist for REM to ensure proper fitting?
4.If it is not possible to directly import all settings, should I start with inputting the audiogram for a new initial adjustment and then proceed with fine-tuning?
5.If both methods are feasible, what are the pros and cons of each?

If you have any other advice, I would be happy to hear it.

Thank you, everyone!

Jack

There’s an export, import option but it doesn’t seem to work sometimes but does other times.

No.

Up to you but no need too other wise you may as well not DIY.

Yes.
