Samsung s23 update

Second update i deleted all of the Oticon beta app data and forgot my aids then paired the INTENT1 aids again and now double tap is working on either aid.

Update double tap is only working for tapping the right aid. I am lefthanded so I naturally go for the left aid.

My phone updated to the latest updates and my INTENT1 aids can now answer calls but i haven’t gotten my aids updated to latest firmware yet. I haven’t been able to get double tap to work, but pressing thevaids button does work. And the phone feels much faster in responding to screen opening of apps, etc. I am using the Oticon beta app and it also updated this morning, not noticing any changes.
I did have to forget my aids and pair them again to get my aids to work properly with the phone.

Samsung S23 Ultra and Jabra Enhance Pro 20s after the update:

LE Audio is now working for me hands-free! I was talking to my partner who’s halfway around the world on WhatsApp. I put my phone on the front porch and I walked to the backyard where it finally cut off until I walked closer. I sat on the back porch which is on the side of the property and had a great conversation with her. Then I walked down past one neighbor’s house then back and then past the other neighbor’s house and back and the connections dropped out both times with one ear, or both, as I got past their house’s. It then came back as I got closer. I’m impressed. Finally. It’s working like it did when I first got the phone.

I’m hoping it will work on my partners S24 Ultra as well. She has not performed the update yet.

Yes I am very happy with my phone and aids after the phone update, hopefully on Friday I will get my Oticon INTENT1 aids updated to the latest firmware. The streaming audio of music, audiobooks and text to speech is great now.

UPDATE:
Stability of connectivity with my Samsung S23 phone is rock solid. Connectivity with the Oticon companion app and Oticon beta app is also rock solid. I use to have so minor issues with the sound of streaming text to speech from my Kindle app, occasionally it would distort, but that hasn’t happened since the Samsung update to my phone this month. Double tap from my aids is working, and music streaming sounds even better than before.
My INTENT1 aids haven’t been updated to the latest firmware yet either.

UPDATE:

LE Audio is ‘now working’ on my partner’s Galaxy S24 Ultra with the Jabra Enhance Pro 20s on the new Samsung Galaxy One UI 6.1.1 release as well!!

This is the first time since the S24 came out that LE Audio has worked on that model phone.

The connectivity has been great and the sound clearer then over the phone’s speaker.

The same for myself…

You know Chuck, I do think Samsung added some of the Android 15 Bluetooth updates in this new One UI 6.1 (6.1.1) release ahead of One UI 7…

Fortunately for the S23 and S24 owners with LE Audio capable hearing aids. It is nice to experience it working well.

All I know and care about is that my aids are rock solid connectivity wise. Also the streaming of calls, music
audiobooks and text to speech sounds even better than with earbuds, or high end headphones. I have a set of high end samsung galaxy earbuds and the bose headphones to compare.

That is good feedback about the comparative sound quality. Thank you for this. It is exciting to finally have what we bought our hearing aids and phones for working correctly.
