Roger Select iN with unknown orange blinking issue

Hi yall !

So yesterday morning, I was picking up my Roger Select iN from the dock in which it was connected to my laptop for charging purpose. As I’ve been doing for a week or so, since I found out that nice and comfortable trick/feature (I was using Bluetooth directly to my HA prior to that).
The green lights were on, from what I recall, so I decided to turn it off, and maybe I turned it on then off. I’m unclear on that.

Either way, the diagnostic is that i have on the power button, a permanent orange blinking. I’ve let it charge overnight to see if it’s just a battery issue, still blinking orange. I’ve downloaded Roger Upgrader and tried to update automatically, it’s up to date already. I’ve tried to do the upgrade manually, as it could force rebooting, 2 new things came up : 1. it actually reboots as all lights turn green, but then it goes back to dark and orange blinking. 2. it then says that Firmware update failed or so. It’s a bit confusing, so I try rebooting myself, with a paper clip and holding the buttons for 10 seconds. It gives me the green lights, and then … back to orange blinking. It seems kinda stuck in some sort of limbo. My computer detects it, i dont know if it’s on or off, but it does not catch and send anything.

This is a rather frustrating situation as that device bumped up all my abilities to follow in class but also to listen and lead group meetings (im in last year of master program). I don’t wanna DIY anything for now cause it was still pricey (im in france so a good part of the cost was covered but i would rather use it for 2 more years before dropping this amount of money again, (got it since August 22)).

I’m going to my audiologist first hour tomorrow, but if anybody got an idea on whats happening and whats possible before that, I would be grateful.

Thanks yall !

The manual says a blinking orange light at the power button means the battery is half full.

Yes, that’s why I’ve let it charging overnight. And if it was simply that, I would still be able to turn it on and off. However, I can’t do either.
