Roger On doesn’t switch off. Both my AB processor and the Link HA keep connecting to Roger On until its battery is completely drained. This happened when the original was about two months old. It was replaced under warranty. Now the replacement, about a year old, is acting up. This seems to be a design/manufacturing flaw. I appreciate hearing from other users.
for clarification, do you continue to hear the Roger On after it is switched off? Do you have the MyRoger app? If so, what is it showing?
Yeah @listeningout, it is a design fault… If I recall correctly, the on/off switch becomes faulty or worn, I ended up binning mine, and I never replaced it. Cheers Kev
My Roger On In did the same thing - it would not turn off until the battery lost power. Tried everything I could think of while also being assisted by many valuable suggestions offered from folks on this forum.
Ultimately it was not just a physical issue with the plastic part of the switch jumping off its track, but an actual failure of the switch.
I disassembled the Roger On In following a full charge and pulled the connector from the battery at the circuit board - stopping the Roger from immediately discharging the battery…it’s a shame because it still works perfectly and also still has it’s two 03 licenses installed.
Every couple of months I reconnect the battery to the Roger ON IN and recharge it.
My Roger On IN was bought used for $300 and lasted about one year.
Good Luck,
David
