My mum is trialling the Phonak Sphere aids, and would like to try the Roger microphone. I have one spare Roger X 02, and one Roger X 03, and also the Roger installer. My question is - once a licence is transferred to the aids, is there any difference at all between an 02 and an 03 licence? Thanks for any insights on this.
The 02 is like the 03 on steroids i.e. the 02 works with more devices than the 03. I have 02 licenses in one set of hearing aids and 03 licenses in another and they both work equally well with the same Roger On microhome. Since the Roger can be paired with more than one set of hearing aids at the same time I would “guess” that it should work with an 02 in one and an 03 in the other. If, however, you pick up a cheap Roger On iN on Ebay it should have two 03 licenses installed and you would not need the Roger Installer.
