For my right ear only I’ve had the Costco Rexton Reach ix-cic-Li for about 2 months now and really appreciate the rechargeable feature. Also that it fits nicely in my ear, as I frequently take glasses on and off which was a problem with the over ear type due to small ears!
However I am having an issue with occlusion. TV watching is fine, but in a group chat everything sounds echoey and I sound like I am speaking extra loudly despite reassurance I am not.
My Costco advisor has tried different styles and sizes of tips, with no improvement, so has suggested a custom mold tip. Apparently this is new, as something to try other than a totally molded cic. I would appreciate any thoughts or experiences from anyone having tried either of these options. The technician wasn’t convinced it would improve the occlusion and suggested it may even sound worse! Thanks for input.
