Rexton Reach--additional programs/modes?

With my Rexton Reach I use the closed click domes with a small vent. Streaming sounds great

These round ones?

Widex, Signia and Rexton use the same receivers and started unifying their dome variants too.
Rexton/Signia domes will fit with Widex’s receivers and vice versa.

The round one is great for streaming, very earbuds like experience.

Yes, those are the domes! Phenomenal comfort and sound for me. Where did you find the image?

Just search for “Widex domes”, Rexton started including them in their device pamphlets recently too.
If it wasn’t clear, you can use Widex domes with Rexton and Signia. They’re all made by the same company WS Audiology.

@Paultxrn Are you trying to wear your Airpod Pros at the same time as your hearing aids?

Yes I have. I would prefer to stream to the HAs but need to get the sound dialed in. I also have noise canceling over the ear headphones which sound great with the HAs in. I have open dome but it sounds like the round domes would be best for sound quality. I have no interest in taking my HAs out to listen to music. I see my hearing specialist Wednesday and will ask to try round domes.

I find that these work great for streaming phone calls and audio books,

Yeah, sleeves are nice but I prefer the vented ones. You need a good fit though. Initially I had ones too big and they irritated my ears.

Music program isn’t for streaming, it’s for listening to music “from outside”.
Streaming isn’t affected by programs in general, there’s separate equalizer in the fitting software for that.

Thanks, Reginald! I didn’t realize Widex was part of the same company! I love these domes!

Paultxrn, I do the same with one of my Galaxy buds for phone calls, when I’m out and about.

It looks like you’ve had quite a positive experience with Bluetooth on the Rexton Reach; are you using an iPhone? I’ve heard that Rexton Reach Bluetooth on Android is better than Bluetooth with Jabra, but still marginal with Rexton. (I’m using Android on a Samsung S22+ mobile device.) Have you any experience, particularly with Reach handsfree calling on Android? I’m considering replacing my new Jabra Pro 20 (from Costco) with Rexton Reach. I’ve found that Bluetooth with the Jabra is quite problematic. Thanks for any info.

I have a Samsung Galaxy S23. I had so much trouble with Bluetooth using my Jabra HAs!

When the Rexton Reach HAs came out I went through all the comments I could find by Android users–here, on Facebook and Reddit–none of the official reviews talked about it. The android phone users seemed to have only good things to say about the Reach, and didn’t mention Bluetooth issues. I really took a chance, but my 180 days was almost up on my Jabras. The Reach HAs had only been out a couple of weeks and my rep did not want me to get them. I ended up with a different rep, because she had to leave early that day, and we did my purchase. I am so glad!

I am super happy with my Reach HAs. I have almost zero Bluetooth issues. Basically the only time is when I’m walking outside and I might lose sound (when streaming) in one of my ears for a short time.

I also love the rechargeable battery life. I wear them from early in the morning until late in the evening, and I still have loads of battery of life left!

I do not have hands-free calling on these at this point. I did with the Jabras, and loved it, but when I talked on the phone outside, it was still hard for someone to hear me. I’m going in on Sunday for a firmware update, and I’m hoping I will have hands-free calling at that point. What I do in the meantime is stick an earbud in my ear when I’m making a call outside, or at home I’ll put it on speakerphone or just have the phone close to my mouth.

I hope this helps.
