At power on, my Rexton Bicore are set to a volume level of 8. I’d like to change the startup to 6, but I can’t find where in the Connexx 9.8 software to make that change.
Can someone tell me where that is set?
thanks.

For Phonak, each click of the volume is 2dB so I would lower the whole volume to make it lower by 2dB or more.
Maybe your Aids are similar?
Sounds like you’re after a 4dB reduction? Only guessing tho.
In the Connexx software, there should be a way to set the volume level when the aids power on. I can’t find where to change that setting.
I’ll have a look at that, I’ve not had any issues or reason to check that, I believe mine are set at 55% should be interesting to see if I can change it?
The 9.3+ user manual (page 10) it describes the ability to set the switched on volume. It seems that feature was removed or just moved in later versions.
Does anyone have a link to older versions of rexton/connexx?
thanks.
Yeah it’s weird, I knew it was available at some point because I’d done it, but that was a long time ago with Micon or binax from memory, check out the screenshot I took, and your right it’s missing from the later versions of Connexx, still there must be a way, I’m gonna do some more work on this over the weekend.
Hello,
Thank you for the screenshot.
I have the following questions:
The volume control has a range of 16dB. Does this mean 8dB in each direction or 16dB in each direction?
Whenever, we open the app, the level is set to 8, does it mean that the baseline amplification is correlated to level 8, and the app lets to play around this gain by using the range parameter. Please correct me if I’m wrong.
Can you please tell me what the sound level 0 in the app corresponds to? I feel the aids are turned off when it is set to zero. So, for level 0, does the aid provide any amplification, i.e., a few levels below the baseline level 8?
My goal is to understand how the sound level in the app changes the overall gain and working of the aid. Any insights on this are appreciated.
Thanks.
