So, I’ve been using Resound’s TV Streamer+ for several months. Love it. One issue, sometimes the sync on the voices from the TV and hearing aids are a slightly out of sync. Historically not a big deal, I just go on the resound app and adjust the hearing aid sync/delay. So my problem, somewhere around ios 18 I also had some issues with my hearing aids and had them sent in to be fixed. I don’t know where the problem is but now I can’t get the TV Streamer+ to show in the app. I can connect the hearing aids, and stream from the TV Streamer+, but I can’t get the Streamer+ to show in the app and therefore can’t adjust the delay/sync which is driving me crazy. Anyone have this issue and solve it? I’ve powered the streamer on/off, phone on/off, hearing aids on/off, re-paird numerous time which connects the hearing aids to the streamer but never shows the streamer in the app. Tried to find a support line/contact with Resound to help, but apparently they don’t directly support their products, they rely on people contacting their audiologist, and mine isn’t helpful on the issue. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Does your TV have a sync/delay control?
Maybe uninstall the app and reinstall it?
Sounds like a difficult problem. Good luck. I hope others had additional suggestions for you.
Is anyone here successfully using TV Streamer + and (I’m assuming) ReSound’s Smart 3D app for iOS with iOS 18 installed?
It’s not unusual for a new iOS major version release like 18 to bork some apps such as ReSound’s and devices connected to the apps. Eventually the apps get updated a couple of times by their developers, and the kinks get worked out, though as RSW suggested, you may need to uninstall and reinstall ReSound’s app. I’m still on iOS 17 for just this reason.
